The winter season is about to end. A feeling of accomplishment for things achieved and a tinge of remorse for opportunities lost.
There are certain typical things you feel when the last months of winter roll around.
1. SEMESTER EXAM MADNESS
All hell breaks loose as you scramble for notes and try to cram desperately. You hope to make it through this semester and promise yourself to work harder in the next one.
And the one after that.
2. WINTRY CHILL
The chill invades now; with icy winds making you run for cover. Cold creams make a comeback on the shelves as the biting cold shrivels you up. There is lethargy in the air and you won’t really do without a simmering cup of coffee.
3. WINTER WARDROBE
Out come the boots and scarves. Trendy leather jackets are the new crop tops as you brave the cold stylishly.
4. HOLIDAY SURPRISES
For those of you still in school or those who remember those days fondly, cannot forget the District Magistrate declaring an off due to the fog. It was the best feeling in the world to wake up and realize that you did not have to go to school.
5. ART IN THE CONDENSATION
There is no one on this big wide earth who has not scribbled or sketched on the condensation that covers car windows. Just writing your name or etching a sketch, it is a quintessential winter tradition.
